We value community because it is biblical, God created us for it, and because we love each other and want to be with each other. In a "planned way" community happens on Sunday morning, through small-groups, and during hang out time. Community happens all the time though as we see each other around town, share our needs, and live life together. There will always be room for you in our church and in our lives.
Small Groups
Small groups are considered the foundation of Hill of the Lord University Church. They seamlessly tie the vision, mission, and values of the church together. Small groups form the foundation from which people can experience God publicly and they provide a direct avenue for them to discover him personally and live influentially.
The purpose of small groups at Hill of the Lord University Church is to strategically promote and put into practice the values of the church (Intimacy with God, Ultimate Truth, Authentic Community, Empowerment, Kingdom, and Excellence). This takes place within an authentic Biblical community that feeds on the Word of God and depends on the Holy Spirit.
The leaders of small groups at Hill of the Lord University church have responded to God's call on their lives to help in building His church. Each leader has a deep love for God, a passion for the Bible, and dependance on the Holy Spirit.
