WHO WE ARE:
Hill of The Lord is a church plant (A fancy way of saying we are a relatively new church) that meets on the USC Campus. Our name comes from Psalm 24.
Psalm 24:1-6
The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the Lord, and vindication from God his savior. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
Our Vision (the end picture, where we feel God is leading us,) Mission (how we think God is directing us to accomplish that vision,) and Core Values (those things that define our lives and ministry) are given below.
Vision:
A church multiplying disciples who are one with Christ in person and purpose.
Mission:
To cultivate a community devoted to understanding Christ's redemption and holiness so that it transforms our identity and redefines our calling to make this gospel fully known.
CORE VALUES:
+ Authority of Scripture + Authentic Community + Intimacy with God + Responsibility of Mission
